The company, which produces engines for aircraft manufacturers such as Airbus and Boeing, also works on space. Rolls-Royce Space company carries out these studies.

The company is also interested in energy. Rolls-Royce, which has been working on various alternative energy sources since the 1950s, is now interested in nuclear energy. But not on Earth. The company, which plans to produce reactors to be used on the moon, is seeking to obtain infinite energy in space.

So why do they want nuclear reactors on the Moon?

First of all, the UK Space Agency and Rolls-Royce are aiming for this in this joint project: Colonization on the Moon. This is what they really want to build in these reactors. The changes in the seasons, the major earthquakes and droughts caused by continental movements, which we now feel the serious effects of on Earth, are pushing humanity in this direction.

This is what the British companies want to achieve. That’s why they want to solve the energy problem first. With nuclear reactors on the Moon, they can open the doors to obtaining infinite energy. These reactors produce energy with hydrogen. Brands argue that the future is hidden in hydrogen.

Nuclear reactor on the Moon

The nuclear reactor, of which Rolls-Royce has shared the first images, is actually a continuation of its previous work. The brand was already working on mini reactors since 2015. The reactors, which were brought to a certain stage, were not fully introduced to the market. It can be considered a first with the UK Space Agency. The produced reactors are called “Rolls-Royce Micro-Reactor”.

The brand states that the reactors can be actively used in 2029. In 2029, there is no information about whether the first installations will be made on the Moon.
